ABOUT THIS JOURNAL

In the face of unexpected loss, may we experience Love in such a way that we never give up, never lose faith, remain hopeful, and endure through every circumstance. I am here to open my heart through sharing my journal of this journey with you in hopes that it in some way strengthens, comforts, and connects with those who have experienced loss and grief in all its forms.

I married my high school sweetheart when I was 18!  We went on to have 5 beautiful children and at the time of my husband's death, we were married almost 24 years.  My husband, Bryant, experienced a hemorrhaging stroke and after two months in ICU passed away.

I found comfort in reading other women's thoughts and experiences following the loss of their husband, but found it hard to find any that were not commercialized.  I pray that other women who have experienced loss are able to feel seen and heard through reading a fellow griever's heart on a page.  May I heal as I write, and may you heal as you read.

Praying an abundance of faith, hope, and love for you always,

Amy
